Yes, it’s a blurry image, but it’s the first photograph of a flying Night Parrot obtained on a camera trap. Sound recordings obtained at this site by the Paruku rangers, working with Alex Watson from WWF, confirm that Night Parrots still occur in the Great Sandy Desert. This is within the known historical range, but at a point that considerably extends the known current range.
